For Northern Virginia native Ryan McIntyre, the path to a master’s in environmental science and policy at �鶹��Ƶ began with something simple: a love for the outdoors and a family connection.

The initiative will align university resources, faculty expertise, and educational programs around six interconnected solution areas addressing what George �鶹��Ƶ President Gregory Washington describes as “humanity’s ultimate grand challenge”—securing a peaceful, healthy, and prosperous future.

The center will advance nuclear science and engineering education.
