This June 12 to 15, �鶹��Ƶ Korea celebrates its first decade with a series of events that culminates with the campus’s eighth graduation ceremony.

�鶹��Ƶ is following a philanthropic tradition, designating the first Thursday of April for donors to come together to support the university. On April 4, 2024, �鶹��Ƶ Vision Day celebrates the power of making a difference through philanthropy.

�鶹��Ƶ's Alumni Association has established the Amy Takayama-Perez Memorial Student Book Award to honor �鶹��Ƶ alumna and former colleague Amy Takayama-Perez, BA Sociology ’96, MEd ’02.

�鶹��Ƶ students are working with the U.S. Department of State to find out what motivates students to study abroad, specifically in Southeast South Korea.

If Bryan Vega, a graduate student in �鶹��Ƶ’s College of Engineering and Computing, has learned anything from his lengthy career, it’s that he can never count himself out.

�鶹��Ƶ’s Evan Marie Lowder is among 12 state educators to be formally recognized by the State Council of Higher Education (SCHEV) with a 2024 Outstanding Faculty Award.

This year, College of Public Health professor James (Jim) Metcalf joined some very rare company, becoming the fourth �鶹��Ƶ faculty member to mark 50 years of service.

�鶹��Ƶ’s Patriot Pantry, in cooperation with the Capital Area Food Bank, is delivering groceries to food-insecure �鶹��Ƶ students and their families.

�鶹��Ƶ students are taking pictures of the campus flora, fauna, and fungi with their smartphones—sometimes in the dark—to capture the university’s biodiversity. They are trying to record as many species as possible in this fall's Bioblitz 2023, which continues through Nov. 19.

On Friday, Oct. 27, �鶹��Ƶ’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences and Department of Psychology hosted a grand opening of its new facility for the Center for Community Mental Health and Center for Evidence-Based Behavioral Health, two centers whose research and community services are deeply connected to strengthening our communities.
