In an effort to support the pipeline of urgently needed special education teachers, the Behrmanns have created a scholarship for George Â鶹ÊÓƵ undergraduates working in the Â鶹ÊÓƵ LIFE program.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ has named Joshua Park the new dean of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea, effective August 19, 2024. Park is an accomplished academic leader with extensive experience in business education in South Korea, recognized for his expertise in negotiation, debate, and mediation.

The National Security Institute’s Cyber and Tech Center (CTC) at George Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Antonin Scalia Law School and Howard University School of Business (HUSB) have been selected to receive $1 million in support from Google’s Cybersecurity Clinics Fund to establish the NSI CTC – HUSB Cybersecurity Clinic. The funding from Google.org, the company’s philanthropic arm, is part of a $25 million collaboration with the Consortium of Cybersecurity Clinics.

From the fabrication floor to the incubator’s loft, the MIX demonstrates how principles of entrepreneurship and innovation aren’t so easily siloed with two new courses: BLIMP and Student Innovator Mastermind.

The Costello College of Business officially launched on November 1, 2023. Much has changed in the college since its humble beginnings in 1977.

Maïlys Faur used her exchange year at the Sorbonne to play tennis at Â鶹ÊÓƵ and is Â鶹ÊÓƵ's first exchange student-athlete.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ officially opened its Â鶹ÊÓƵ Autonomy and Robotics Center, a collaborative space where students will perform research on a variety of emerging fields related to artificial intelligence and autonomous devices.

In November 2023, Â鶹ÊÓƵ students, faculty, and staff gathered to help transplant 1,700 plants of more than 50 native species into two groves near the stream behind Student Union Building I between Aquia Creek Lane and Patriot Circle.

Once a year, Â鶹ÊÓƵ invites its community—alumni, faculty, staff, students, and their families–to unite in philanthropy on Â鶹ÊÓƵ Vision Day. This year, on April 4, they did so enthusiastically, raising $1,309,345 for the university’s students, research, and programs.

CACI International Inc is once again supporting Â鶹ÊÓƵ students through a $200,000 gift to establish the CACI Scholars Program. The program helps selected scholars secure science, technology, engineering, or mathematics-related positions upon graduation.
