The tourism and hospitality industries have been confronting increasing challenges related to both the pandemic and climate change, according to experts from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College of Education and Human Development (CEHD).

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is working with a group of scientists from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Center for Ocean Land Atmosphere Studies (COLA) to update its drought forecasting system.

Four new members have joined the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) Advisory Board: Alison Ansher, district health director for Prince William Country; Anton Arbatov, vice president of revenue cycle management and compliance for SOC Telemed; Michael Fraser, chief executive officer at ASTHO; and Patricia Haresign, health and wellness coach and founder of Coaching Wellness for Life.

Freshmen moving into the residence halls on Wednesday, Aug. 18, marks the start of the 2021-22 academic year at Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
