After a year learning Russian in the Kyrgyzstan Republic, Anusha Chaluvadi begins her career at George �鶹��Ƶ: Honors College, University Scholar, and a major in the Schar School’s International Security and Law undergraduate four-year degree program.

More than 250 people are working on the construction of the Fuse building at �鶹��Ƶ Square, including �鶹��Ƶ rising senior Leslie Hernandez. “It’s my way of giving back to my school and community,” said Hernandez, who is majoring in civil and infrastructure engineering in the College of Engineering and Computing.

When Student Body President Maria Alejandra Romero Cuesta and Vice President Colin McAulay were looking at universities, �鶹��Ƶ’s proximity to Washington, D.C., and Schar School of Policy and Government’s strong reputation made it a top choice for them both.

�鶹��Ƶ bioengineering student Berk Kasimcan spent his summer internship working on a proof of concept for what could be described as sunglasses for buildings. 

Dmitry Oleynik began attending events hosted by �鶹��Ƶ’s Early Identification Program as an eighth grader. The program, along with early support from his family, helped him develop an interest in engineering.

Samuel Dalachinsky could have attended college tuition-free in Florida. But his experience at the George �鶹��Ƶ Institute of Forensics in the summer of 2022, before his senior year of high school, convinced him to look at �鶹��Ƶ.
