    Olga O’Brien started her journey at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ as an international student from Prague on a volleyball scholarship. As a student, she started working as a part-time volleyball instructor at the Freedom Center in 1999—the year the center first opened. And she has been there ever since.

    As a result of a grant awarded by the Virginia Tourism Corporation, the Fairfax City Economic Development Authority commissioned Murals at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to install a mural highlighting landmarks and experiences in Fairfax, Virginia. 'Greetings from Fairfax,' by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ alum Lecsi Pillar, is located at Point 50 shopping center.

    As term associate professor of statistics, Kenneth Strazzeri stays busy teaching about 300 students each semester. Beyond his passion for teaching, Strazzeri discovered two new interests in recent years: running and biking. This hobby is now his major mode of transportation, as well: commuting to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ by bike has offered Strazzeri motivation and an opportunity to improve as an athlete.
