Each year, the �鶹��Ƶ Alumni Association’s annual Celebration of Distinction recognizes outstanding alumni, faculty members, and students.

The Hylton Performing Arts Center opened its doors at �鶹��Ƶ in 2010, and Marit Majeske, education coordinator, has been along for the ride ever since. Located on George �鶹��Ƶ’s Science and Technology Campus in Manassas, Virginia, the Hylton Center is managed by the College of Visual and Performing Arts.

In July, Charles “Cully” Stimson, JD ‘92, was elected as rector of the �鶹��Ƶ Board of Visitors. A businessman and attorney, Stimson is the deputy director of the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, Senior Legal Fellow, manager of the National Security Law Program, and senior advisor to the president at The Heritage Foundation.

Daniel Gartenberg became passionate about the study of sleep during his graduate studies at George �鶹��Ƶ. He is now founder and CEO of SleepSpace and a scientific advisor to other companies in the sleep science field.

�鶹��Ƶ is Virginia's leading university for value, upward mobility and internships, and ranked in the top 25 nationally for innovation according to U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges 2025 released today.

In this role, Shehu will lead the strategy and implementation of AI across research, academics, and partnerships for the university, maximizing opportunity and adoption in addressing the world’s grand challenges while leading on ethical considerations, governance, and risk mitigation.

George �鶹��Ƶ community members from around the world came together for a week of events to recognize the Songdo campus’s 10th anniversary.

Almost 100 students a year travel from �鶹��Ƶ Korea to spend time taking classes on George �鶹��Ƶ’s Virginia campuses. Here are some alumni who have chosen to kick off their careers in the United States.

Since 2014, INTO �鶹��Ƶ has offered classes to more than 3,000 international students from 70 countries, including China, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Azerbaijan, and Turkey.

�鶹��Ƶ is educating global citizens to succeed in an increasingly interconnected international society and economy.
