Jasmine Okidi, a third-year University Scholar studying English, was selected as Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s first-ever recipient of the Beinecke Scholarship.

Alexandra Anderson, a BS Honors College student-athlete at Â鶹ÊÓƵ (GMU) was awarded the Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship.

A new donation from Deltek, the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for project-based businesses, is establishing the Deltek Scholars Program, which will provide scholarship support for graduate students pursuing software engineering.

Thanks to the generosity of Michael von Fricken, professor of Global and Community Health, the One Health Scholarship will provide a selected graduate student with funding and/or support to pursue a research project relating to the One Health initiative.

Of the 108 Northern Virginia graduating seniors who participated in the university's Early Identification Program, 48 have chosen to attend Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Twenty-eight of those students have been awarded partial or full scholarships.

2021-2022 Scholarships are available. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2021.

The College of Health and Human Services is proud to announce that P.J. Maddox, PhD, has received the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Faculty of the Year Award and will be formally recognized at the Celebration of Distinction on Thursday, April 22, hosted by Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Alumni Association.

Scholarship fund to support accelerated nursing students in perpetuity.

Kristen Alleyne and Elene Lipartiani, incoming freshmen at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, have been honored with I-Achieve scholarships for academic excellence. The awards are being given for the first time this year, as part of a grant Â鶹ÊÓƵ received from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation last fall.
