A new donation from Deltek, the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for project-based businesses, is establishing the Deltek Scholars Program, which will provide scholarship support for graduate students pursuing software engineering.

Thanks to the generosity of Michael von Fricken, professor of Global and Community Health, the One Health Scholarship will provide a selected graduate student with funding and/or support to pursue a research project relating to the One Health initiative.

Of the 108 Northern Virginia graduating seniors who participated in the university's Early Identification Program, 48 have chosen to attend Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Twenty-eight of those students have been awarded partial or full scholarships.
2021-2022 Scholarships are available. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2021.

The College of Health and Human Services is proud to announce that P.J. Maddox, PhD, has received the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Faculty of the Year Award and will be formally recognized at the Celebration of Distinction on Thursday, April 22, hosted by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Alumni Association.
Scholarship fund to support accelerated nursing students in perpetuity.
Kristen Alleyne and Elene Lipartiani, incoming freshmen at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, have been honored with I-Achieve scholarships for academic excellence. The awards are being given for the first time this year, as part of a grant Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ received from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation last fall.
