�鶹��Ƶ was one of four universities selected for Generation Hope’s inaugural FamilyU Cohort, which is designed to help universities improve student-parent success.

�鶹��Ƶ Recreation celebrated the grand opening of its brand-new pickleball courts on Tuesday, July 18.

�鶹��Ƶ is the top-ranked university in Virginia, and No. 7 nationally, for LGBTQ+ students, according to Best Colleges.

On April 26, 25 �鶹��Ƶ graduates were celebrated for their accomplishments and contributions to the university community at the 2023 Lavender and Women and Gender Studies Graduation, held in the Johnson Center Bistro.

The Patriot Pathbreakers Award, established by Human Resources and the Staff Senate, honors high- performing staff teams that embody the �鶹��Ƶ value of “Thriving Together.” These innovative teams use individual talents to overcome obstacles and make progress toward their goals. They have adapted their services and processes when necessary to meet the changing needs of the �鶹��Ƶ community. Their work makes �鶹��Ƶ All Together Different.

�鶹��Ƶ students joined more than 600 of their peers from around the world at Vanderbilt University, near Nashville, Tennessee, for the 15th annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) from March 3-5.

Up to one-third of students nationally are impacted by food insecurity. During the past three years, �鶹��Ƶ has seen a 172 percent increase in student use of the Patriot Pantry.
