Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Professor Aditya Johri has received a Fulbright-Nokia Distinguished Chair in Information and Communication Technologies award to conduct research in Finland during the 2021-22 academic year. Johri is a professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's College of Engineering and Computing.

Through a new large collaborative grant funded by the National Science Foundation, Aditya Johri, professor in the Department of Information Sciences and Technology, will work with researchers from Iowa State University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on use-inspired research to address one of the world’s grand challenges‑‑sustainably feeding the nearly 9 billion people who will inhabit the Earth by 2050.

The ADVANCE partnership between Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµÂ (Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ) gives NOVA students targeted, personalized support to complete their bachelor's degrees in a timely manner and save money. In addition to cost savings, the benefits of the program include an aligned curriculum, access to facilities and events, no additional application, co-enrollment, and more.
