Designed for rising Virginia high school sophomores and juniors from underserved communities, the VALHEN Hispanic STEM Academy provided the opportunity for 48 participants to engage in a series of interactive sessions across a range of STEM disciplines.

One May 24, 27 Â鶹ÊÓƵ EIP graduates joined the ranks of Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumni this year, along with 130 graduating high school seniors celebrating their EIP graduation, as part of EIP’s 32nd graduating class. More than 2,100 students have graduated from EIP since it began in 1987.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea Dean Robert Matz returned to Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Fairfax Campus to spread the word about the many good things going on at Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea.

U.S. Air Forces Central (AFCENT) formalized a partnership with Â鶹ÊÓƵ for joint research, rapid capability development, warfighter training, and education to support the mission readiness of the Ninth Air Force.

On April 20, 2023, President Gregory Washington announced the launch of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Now: Power the Possible, a one billion dollar comprehensive campaign for Â鶹ÊÓƵ.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ was named one of Money magazine’s Best Colleges in America 2023 with a 4.5 out of 5-star rating.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ is the top-ranked university in Virginia, and No. 7 nationally, for LGBTQ+ students, according to Best Colleges.

NTO Â鶹ÊÓƵ and Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea partnered with the South Korea’s Local Government Officials Institute (LOGODI) to offer a joint program for 25 South Korean local government officials from May 15 to June 2.

On May 9, Â鶹ÊÓƵ celebrated its research enterprise with Innovation Awards, recognizing the Innovator of the Year and a Â鶹ÊÓƵ start-up, and those who received and/or licensed a patent.
