- June 9, 2022Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's Early Identification Program provides access to educational resources, mentoring and programming for students from seven local public school systems. In May, 112 high school seniors graduate from the program. Ninety-five of them have been admitted to college, including 41 who will be attending Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
- June 9, 2022Melissa Broeckelman-Post ran unopposed this spring for a second one-year term as senate chair. Under her leadership, the senate formed the Task Force on Reimagining Faculty Roles and Rewards to better recognize ways that faculty contribute to the university through teaching, research, advising, community service, and other actions. The task force plans to have an implementation proposal this fall.

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Academy is a localized guided degree transfer program that is in alliance with a Virginia community college and is part of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Virginia Promise (MVP) initiative.

Week by week, they sculpted different parts of their own faces, creating a portrait of themselves in clay and learning the forensic skills needed to put a face on a skull.
