Master of Public Health Student Colin Tran discovered coding and his love of helping people through data after taking the required Biostatistics course 

In March, Â鶹ÊÓƵ alum Kwabena Konadu was recognized for his work by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia with one of the its 2022 Outstanding Faculty Awards, one of the most prestigious teaching awards in the state.

On May 21, 1983, Â鶹ÊÓƵ awarded its first doctoral degree, a doctor of arts in education, to Carolyn Kreiter-Foronda, a teacher at nearby West Springfield High School.
