�鶹��Ƶ’s commitment to anti-racism and inclusive excellence is being honored with the 2022 NAACP Arlington Branch President's Award.

A �鶹��Ƶ team led by Alessandra Luchini and Lance Liotta has been named one of 10 Phase 1 winners of the LymeX Diagnostics Prize by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Foundation.

�鶹��Ƶ and MedStar come together to establish the Future Nurse Program, preparing nurses for clinical practice, and addressing critical nursing workforce shortages in the region.

It has been busy year at the �鶹��Ƶ Innovation Exchange (MIX). Since the �鶹��Ƶ makerspace opened in its new space in Horizon Hall in September 2021, it has seen a lot of traffic—more than 9,000 visitors in spring 2022—and has some successes to report.

�鶹��Ƶ’s Business for a Better World Center (B4BW) recently convened an in-person Stakeholder Roundtable on the subject of Corporate Governance. The half-day event took place at Point of View International Retreat & Research Center at �鶹��Ƶ Neck in Lorton, VA on October 21.

Twenty years ago, in December 2002, Vernon L. Smith was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, recognizing his pioneering work in the field of experimental economics.

�鶹��Ƶ announced the largest gift to a center within the School of Business from Attain Partners founder and CEO Greg Baroni and his wife, Camille.

�鶹��Ƶ and Amazon have entered into a strategic collaboration that will allow the university to better serve students, advance its commitment to a more sustainable campus environment, and introduce new educational programs in data center engineering.

The Political Leadership Academy (PLA) at the Carter School hosted recently re-elected Congressman Don Beyer on November 19.
