Â鶹ÊÓƵ capped its 50th anniversary year by honoring more than 5,000 graduates at Winter Commencement, celebrating an esteemed class that bridges Â鶹ÊÓƵ to its second half-century as an independent university.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ alum Gregory Fowler, president of University of Maryland Global Campus, was the 2022 Winter Commencement speaker. These are his remarks as prepared for delivery on December 15, 2022.
