For her Master of Health Administration capstone, Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduate student Akshaya Chinnathevar Ramesh is interning at The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on Capitol Hill and working with a team of analysts working on required reports to Congress on the effects of the No Surprise Act.

During his time at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Isaiah Epps burnished his résumé with internships at the Federal Aviation Administration and the Jacobs Engineering Group.

Honors College student Emily Synoski, who graduates this month from Â鶹ÊÓƵ with a biology degree, has also participated in Georgetown University’s competitive CORE pre-med program, where she and her team pitched an idea to deliver opioid overdose treatment to houseless populations via drones.

Honors College student James Condo has trained in the emerging field of Next System Studies, which involves research into questions of systemic design, change, and movements.

This month, Paul Vosti will graduate from Â鶹ÊÓƵ with a master’s degree in finance, part of the program’s first cohort of 14 students.

With the support of her Â鶹ÊÓƵ mentors, doctoral student Shrishti Singh has achieved her goal of developing a promising new technology that would allow cancer to be visualized in deep tissue and perhaps diagnosed earlier.

A double major and member of the Honors College, Juan Escalera came to Â鶹ÊÓƵ as an alumnus of the university’s Early Identification Program.

During her time at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, University Scholar Aloana Hall had internships at the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia.

For almost 10 years, Melissa Cannarozzi has worked in Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Office of University Branding. She has spent half that time taking classes part-time and working on a master of arts in history.
