Â鶹ÊÓƵ is deeply committed to pioneering processes that can answer the grand challenges of water, its responsible management, and sustainability. In fact, the university’s interdisciplinary approach and cutting-edge research as part of its strategic direction, has turned Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s campuses into a Living Lab.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ is working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop a course in data center engineering and expand the opportunities in its senior capstone courses.

U.S. Air Forces Central (AFCENT) formalized a partnership with Â鶹ÊÓƵ for joint research, rapid capability development, warfighter training, and education to support the mission readiness of the Ninth Air Force.

Peraton, a Virginia-based national security company, awarded 10 Â鶹ÊÓƵ Honors College students the Stu Shea Peraton Scholarship in National Security at the Honors College’s 15th Annual Research Exhibition and Awards Ceremony.

As term associate professor of statistics, Kenneth Strazzeri stays busy teaching about 300 students each semester. Beyond his passion for teaching, Strazzeri discovered two new interests in recent years: running and biking. This hobby is now his major mode of transportation, as well: commuting to Â鶹ÊÓƵ by bike has offered Strazzeri motivation and an opportunity to improve as an athlete.

Kimmy Duong, an accomplished tech entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a refugee who has overcome countless obstacles to achieve success in life, will receive the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Medal, Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s highest honorary award, at the 2023 Spring Commencement.
