August 3, 2023Â鶹ÊÓƵ recently partnered with Virginia State University (VSU) to transfer surplus furniture from Â鶹ÊÓƵ residence halls. Through the efforts of staff from Â鶹ÊÓƵ Facilities and Housing and Residence Life, more than 850 pieces of furniture were transferred to furnish newly opened residential spaces at VSU, an HBCU located near Petersburg, Virginia.
August 2, 2023Mark Ginsberg has been the Senior Vice President and Provost of Â鶹ÊÓƵ since September 2020 and before that served as dean of the College of Education and Human Development.

July 14, 2023Alethia Shipman was recently appointed as director of student financial aid at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Shipman, who has been with Â鶹ÊÓƵ for more than a year serving as associate director of financial aid, assumes the position following the retirement of Sandy Tarbox.
