Paul E. Misener, a scientist, lawyer, engineer and innovator will be the featured speaker at �鶹��Ƶ’s 2023 Winter Commencement ceremony. The ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, in EagleBank Arena on the Fairfax Campus.

An event on Nov. 3 at the �鶹��Ƶ Square campus celebrated the "topping out" of the Fuse building, meaning the structural frame of the building is complete.

�鶹��Ƶ has been recognized as a Bicycle Friendly University by the League of American Bicyclists for promoting safe, accessible bicycling on campus. The League of American Bicyclists is a grassroots advocacy organization encouraging better bicycling and protecting the rights of people who bike.

In my last message about the unfolding conflict in Israel and Gaza, we shared that security efforts are in place to address safety concerns, and services are in place to assist people in crisis. Since that time, we have organized pre-existing campus services into a coordinated approach, which we are calling the Patriot Plan for Community Safety and Well-Being.

�鶹��Ƶ’s new Fuse at �鶹��Ƶ Square destination in Arlington will reach a major milestone this month with the “topping out” of what will become a 345,000-square-foot collaborative and digital innovation space in the heart of the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor.
