Â鶹ÊÓƵ will honor more than 5,200 students graduating or earning certificates at Winter Commencement at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at EagleBank Arena on the Fairfax Campus.

Winter Commencement Speaker George D. Schindler, former president and chief executive officer of business and information technology company CGI, will address Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduates on Dec. 19 at EagleBank Arena on the Fairfax Campus.

Stanley and Rosemary Hayes Jones continue their legacy of philanthropy at Â鶹ÊÓƵ with a transformative $1 million gift to establish the Stanley and Rosemary Hayes Jones Networking Testbed Lab within the Fuse at Â鶹ÊÓƵ Square building.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea recently hosted the opening ceremony for its Korea Serious Game Institute (KSGI), marking the global expansion of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Virginia Serious Game Institute (VSGI), which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Community Arts Academy has been named one of the Best Summer Camps by  Northern Virginia Magazine every year since 2021. This summer, the program broke multiple records including the number of student participants at just under 1,900. The Acting for Young People program also broke its attendance record with 950 students.

Dan Stephens has been named vice president for finance at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, following a national search. Stephens will succeed Sharon Heinle, who will retire in January 2025.
