Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea was honored to welcome Â鶹ÊÓƵ President Gregory Washington for his inaugural visit to the campus.

On average, pre-pandemic, around 45 Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea students had been studying at the Fairfax Campus each semester. The program peaked at 84 students this fall, but they expect more than 100 students this spring.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea Computer Game Design faculty Jared Bruhn and John Doran recently interviewed with Alex Jensen on Koreabizcast, a daily podcast by the Korea Business Leaders Alliance (KBLA).

Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea, established in 2014 as part of the university’s initiative to expand and establish a global footprint, offers international students an opportunity to gain an undergraduate degree from Â鶹ÊÓƵ while studying abroad.

President Washington spoke on Oct. 14 at a Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea event in Horizon Hall on the Fairfax Campus, as part of a week-long series of events celebrating his Investiture. Participants gathered in person and virtually from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Korea Campus.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ is known for meeting students where they are.

In her final column as Faculty Senate Chair, Shannon Davis reflects on academic year transitions and the accomplishments of the Faculty Senate this year.
