Choreographer, dancer, and educator, Ms. Reedy was the founder and artistic director of Karen Reedy Dance (KRD) from 2007-2015. A highly musical artist with strong choreographic sensibilities for pattern, texture and emotion, her works span the continuum of classical and contemporary dance in traditional as well as site specific performance.
Retired since 2021, Professor Emeritus Buffy Price earned her Masters from New York University and has taught for the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ School of Dance since 1991. She served as Associate Chair from 2002-2003 and Chair of the Dance Department, then Director of the School of Dance from 2003-2013.Â

Christen Soos recently graduated from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ where she received her Master of Music degree with a concentration in Flute Performance and a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Music Education.
In the Fall of 2010 John Spirtas joined the faculty of the School of Music as Adjunct Professor in Percussion. Prof. Spirtas joined the Washington National Opera Orchestra and Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra in 2000 as Principal Percussionist.
Originally hailing from New Zealand, Jonathan has been involved in musical pursuits of one form or another since the age of four. While attending the University of Auckland where he completed studies for a Bachelor of Music (Honors), Jonathan was a regular performer with the Auckland Philharmonia.
Victor Provost’s performances transcend the expectations of instrument and genre. With appearances at major venues throughout the world (including Shanghai Concert Hall, Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater, the Umbria Jazz Festival, and the Kennedy Center) he has been meticulously solidifying his reputation as a master of the Steel Pan and crafting an improvisational voice and style to be reckoned with.
Joseph Walsh has three decades of experience in preparing, presenting and conducting opera and musical theater in Virginia, across the U.S. and internationally. He is a conductor admired for his ability to combine dramatic flair and theatrical excitement with sensitivity, detail and a keen sense of dramatic pacing.
Dr. Ina Radeva Mirtcheva is a May 2014 graduate of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ with a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance. She has been a piano student of Dr. Anna Balakerskia for many years. Her doctoral dissertation research focused on the life and music of Isaac Miknovsky; Dr. Linda Monson served as her dissertation advisor and mentor.
Dr. Yoonji Kim, pianist, currently teaches keyboard skills and is a member of the applied piano faculty at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Born in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Kim moved to United States of America at age fifteen to study.
