Laurence Bray, associate provost for graduate education and leader of the Graduate Division at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, has been elected to serve as president of the Virginia Council of Graduate Schools (VCGS). Bray will succeed current VCGS president Jeannine Perry, Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Longwood University, on July 1, 2023.

Megan Bruening was recently named Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Director of Fellowships, supporting both undergraduate and graduate programs. Bruening joined the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ community as the assistant director of graduate fellowships in 2021 and had been serving as interim director for the past several months.
