As associate director of the LGBTQ+ Resources in the Center for Culture, Equity, and Empowerment (CCEE), formerly ODIME, Kinchen advises student groups, sits on many committees and does a lot of consulting and training with schools, colleges, and departments across the university that want to learn more about working with LGBTQ+ students.
This semester the Office of the Provost will renew the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Vision Series, a monthly forum to showcase exemplary real-world research and scholarship that takes place every day at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
Shannon Davis will be responsible for guiding and developing Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Korea’s curricula, as well as advancing its student success and faculty excellence.
After almost a year of teaching during a global pandemic, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ professors said they’ve learned some valuable lessons on what works and what doesn’t with virtual teaching, and what their students need most from them.
Registration is open for the Patriot Learning Pod, a proctored, self-study learning environment for the children of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ faculty and staff at the Pilot House.
Beginning this semester, the Faculty Senate Executive Committee will hold a virtual coffee chat, open to all General Faculty members, each Friday after a regularly scheduled Faculty Senate meeting.
