Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Board of Visitors voted on September 29 to issue credits to in-state undergraduate students in an amount equal to the 3% increase that was approved for the 2022-23 academic year, in effect returning Fiscal Year 2023 tuition levels to 2022 levels.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ and Germanna Community College have announced a new partnership bringing the first Â鶹ÊÓƵ Academy program to Virginia students. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Academy is a localized guided degree transfer program that is in alliance with a Virginia community college and is part of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Virginia Promise (MVP) initiative.

The ADVANCE partnership between Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and Â鶹ÊÓƵ (Â鶹ÊÓƵ) gives NOVA students targeted, personalized support to complete their bachelor's degrees in a timely manner and save money. In addition to cost savings, the benefits of the program include an aligned curriculum, access to facilities and events, no additional application, co-enrollment, and more.

An American Council on Education (ACE) Task Force of college and university presidents and chancellors released a report Monday highlighting the ADVANCE Program, a partnership between Â鶹ÊÓƵ and Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) as an example of successful collaboration to improve transfer student success.

A $1 million grant from Strada Education Network helped Â鶹ÊÓƵ launched the ADVANCE Career Accelerator Toolkit, a first-of-its-kind web-based application designed to help prospective students select majors based on desired career outcomes.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s ADVANCE program, which partners with Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) to help students earn four-year degrees at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, is celebrating its first four graduates next week.
