�鶹��Ƶ Athletics has announced plans to expand the Recreation Athletic Complex on the Fairfax Campus to provide a modernized academic support venue for �鶹��Ƶ’s 500 student-athletes and to improve resources for the men’s and women’s basketball programs.

The �鶹��Ƶ community gathered Sept. 28 to celebrate the launch of the university’s largest comprehensive campaign in its history, �鶹��Ƶ Now: Power the Possible. The event at Merten Hall was dedicated to the people who work every day to drive �鶹��Ƶ’s success: the university’s faculty and staff.

�鶹��Ƶ's Board of Visitors met on Thursday, Sept. 28., followed by a reception celebrating the �鶹��Ƶ Now campaign.

�鶹��Ƶ President Gregory Washington lauded brothers Maruf and Mahfuz Ahmed at a special event for embodying the possibilities that �鶹��Ƶ offers with its steadfast commitment to access and inclusion.

�鶹��Ƶ's Board of Visitors last week approved the renaming of the School of Business to the Donald G. Costello College of Business to better reflect the unit’s size and stature. The business school was initially named in honor of Costello, a late Northern Virginia entrepreneur, in April, retaining the “school” designation.

On April 20, 2023, President Gregory Washington announced the launch of �鶹��Ƶ Now: Power the Possible, a one billion dollar comprehensive campaign for �鶹��Ƶ.

�鶹��Ƶ’s Scholarship Breakfast, held in �鶹��Ƶ’s Center for the Arts lobby, brought together donors and scholarship recipients this spring.

The largest school naming gift in the university’s history, part of a $1B fundraising effort, will support �鶹��Ƶ’s growing entrepreneurship and innovation programs.
