The Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on America left an indelible mark on An Nguyen with the death of his father at the Pentagon, but the Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduate student has overcome considerable hurdles to ensure that he honors his father every day by becoming the kind of young man his beloved father would have wanted.

As K–12 students head back to in-person school, professors at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College of Education and Human Development are studying the effects of the pandemic on learning and helping teachers better meet student needs.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ has implemented several strategies to keep the campus community safe this fall during the evolving pandemic. Due to the ongoing risk of COVID-19, the university is requiring all students, faculty and staff to participate in mandatory routine COVID testing, regardless of vaccination status. Earlier in the pandemic, the testing was voluntary.
