Soon we will significantly reduce required COVID testing for most who are fully vaccinated, and will offer free tests to any member of the university community who wishes to be tested, regardless of their vaccination status. The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ community has earned this rollback in testing through its collective diligence in taking the many precautions to keep COVID at bay.

Sharnnia Artis joined Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ on Sept. 1 as the new vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion and chief diversity officer. Before coming to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, Artis served as assistant dean of access and inclusion in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences and the Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine, one of the most diverse engineering programs in the nation.
