Caitlyn Fulcher is an ECOP Community Peer Specialist coordinator for the College of Public Health, School of Nursing. She is a Registered Peer recovery specialist through the Virginia Board of Counseling. Her primary role with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is the site coordinator of the ECOP program located in Chesterfield County.Â
Liz Laster joined the faculty in Summer 2022 as Assistant Director of Practicum Education. Prior to joining the department of social work, Liz worked as a school social worker with Fairfax County Public schools as well as with therapeutic foster care in Washington, DC.
Ms. Nancy Spencer manages a portfolio of public health projects, which engages high-risk, high-need individuals with Opioid Use Disorder and Criminal Justice involvement to facilitate health and social care systems navigation. She is responsible for the implementation and delivery of community-based participatory research that includes cross-sector health equity initiatives.
Jeremy Burton is an ECOP Community Peer Specialist Coordinator for the College of Public Health, School of Nursing. He is a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with DBHDS and has graduated from the Recovery Leadership Academy in 2021, facilitated by VCU.
Joelle Patricio is a Graduate Admissions Coordinator for the College of Public Health. In her role, she supports the recruitment efforts for all graduate programs and provides guidance and support to students from pre-admission through graduation.
Isela Caballero is the Communications Coordinator for the Department of Health Administration and Policy at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s College of Public Health. She leads communications, manages events, and develops digital and print content highlighting the achievements of faculty, students, and alumni. Isela also supports administrative operations and collaborates with college leadership to strengthen the visibility of academic programs and research initiatives.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health with a concentration in Global Health from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Global Health. Her professional experience spans health education, healthcare administration, customer service, and technology, with a focus on advancing health equity and community-centered impact, particularly in reproductive health in underserved communities.
Mojgan (Maggie) Sefat is the Financial Analyst for the College of Public Health, Office of the Dean. Her primary role is to support the College’s financial operation, assisting with expenditure budgeting, accounting, and purchasing.
Mary Kirtley Righi, MPH is the Clinical Operations Coordinator of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and Partners (MAP) Clinics. In her role, Righi provides operational support to all MAP clinic locations and develops and maintains community partnerships.
Melissa Hensley joined the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Department of Social Work in April 2020 as a Practicum Education Coordinator. Prior to joining the Department of Social Work, Melissa’s work focused on long-term care and hospice, as well as advocacy within the community for additional programs to support the aging population.
