This month, Paul Vosti will graduate from Â鶹ÊÓƵ with a master’s degree in finance, part of the program’s first cohort of 14 students.

With the support of her Â鶹ÊÓƵ mentors, doctoral student Shrishti Singh has achieved her goal of developing a promising new technology that would allow cancer to be visualized in deep tissue and perhaps diagnosed earlier.

A double major and member of the Honors College, Juan Escalera came to Â鶹ÊÓƵ as an alumnus of the university’s Early Identification Program.

For almost 10 years, Melissa Cannarozzi has worked in Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Office of University Branding. She has spent half that time taking classes part-time and working on a master of arts in history.

As a sophomore, electrical engineering major Sai Srivatsav Gutala started a student club called the Inventors and Innovations Team (IIT) with one of his classmates, computer engineering major Nicholas Paschke.

University of Maryland Global Campus President Gregory W. Fowler, a Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumnus and national leader in online and hybrid education for nontraditional students, will be the featured speaker at Winter Commencement next month.

This academic year the Â鶹ÊÓƵ School of Business graduated a total of 1,337 students - 1,106 undergraduates, and 231 graduate students. During his remarks at the School's Degree Celebration on Sunday, May 22, Dean Maury Peiperl commended students for their determination to succeed in this very challenging time.
