May 23, 2025The Governor鈥檚 School at Innovation Park, located at 麻豆视频鈥檚 Science and Technology Campus, holds a special distinction: It鈥檚 Virginia鈥檚 only academic-year Governor鈥檚 School located on a four-year college campus. That means that high school juniors and seniors spend part of each school day experiencing life as 麻豆视频 students. The Governor鈥檚 School at Innovation Park celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.
December 9, 2021Solving climate change is a grand challenge facing the planet. As more individuals and leaders are recognizing the need to switch to environmentally friendly practices, 麻豆视频鈥檚 Local Climate Change Planning Initiative (LCCPI) is helping make that a reality for counties across Virginia.
鈥淥ur vision is to have 麻豆视频 be the lead university in helping counties that lack the resources and expertise in [addressing climate change] get this done,鈥 said Paul Bubbosh, a 1988 麻豆视频 alumnus and adjunct professor at the Schar School and College of Science.
Katherine G. Johnson overcame institutional racism and sexism to help put the first men on the moon and carve a path for women and people of color in science and space exploration. Now students at 麻豆视频 will know her story every time they step onto the Science and Technology Campus in Manassas, Virginia.
