Each year, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni Association’s annual Celebration of Distinction recognizes outstanding alumni, faculty members, and students.

Senior of the Year Celine Apenteng has made an impact during her time at George Â鶹ÊÓƵ, and she isn’t done. After graduating this spring, the Silver Spring, Maryland, native will continue to pursue her master’s through the university’s accelerated master’s program.

Hannah Adamson, who graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in conflict analysis and resolution, is one of 62 recipients nationwide awarded a fellowship by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Hannah Adamson knew after an 8th-grade trip to Washington, D.C., that the capital region was the place for her. She is graduating this May with a bachelor of arts in conflict analysis and resolution.

For more than 30 years, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Alumni Association has honored outstanding alumni, faculty members, and students at their annual Celebration of Distinction. The 2022 awardees include a diverse group of Patriots who exemplify service to others.

Dominique Dowling's passion to advocate for young minds both inside and outside the classroom led Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Alumni Association to name her the 2022 Senior of the Year.
