As director of contracts and special projects for Auxiliary Services and Operations at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, Buz Grover has managed a variety of recurring and innovative projects. Outside work, as a volunteer with the Cave Research Foundation, Grover explores caves on federal lands, mapping the unknown twists and turns of the earth’s darkest—and coolest—corners.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Korea recently joined forces with General Motors (GM) Korea to revitalize a youth home in Incheon's Bupyeong area through a collaborative beautification project. The activity was organized by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Cares, which focuses on community engagement around Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Incheon campus, and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Korea’s Office of Development and Strategic Partnership.

Debbie Cohen started working in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Office of University Advancement and Alumni Relations in fall 2023. Before coming to George Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, she worked in another realm of education: as a middle school teacher. Her passion for education fueled her involvement with another activity outside work: Cohen serves as a volunteer mentor with College Bound, Inc., a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit serving public and charter school students in grades 8–12.

Outside of work, one of her hobbies revolves around nonhuman subjects: dogs eligible for adoption.

As the student enrichment coordinator in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s College of Education and Human Development, Caroline Masakayan helps organize a variety of student activities. She also supports student organizations and the college’s two learning communities. Outside of work, Masakayan volunteers as a court-appointed special advocate (CASA), helping children experiencing tough living situations, abuse, and neglect.

Micah Hodges works as a success coach in University Life at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. In this role, Hodges works one-on-one with students to help them discover what success looks like to them. Outside of work, Hodges helps sustain and develop something else: our local environment and community spaces. As a volunteer with NOVA and District Cleanups, Hodges works alongside cadres of volunteers who remove trash from public spaces.
