Students from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Competitive Cybersecurity (MCC) club have dominated in multiple national competitions. The team got 1st place in the 2024 VMI CyberFusion and 2nd place in the 2024 Spring National Cyber League. Next, the students will be competing in the inaugural DistrictCon Hacker Conference on February 21-22.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ has received Virginia Board of Education funding for two of 14 lab schools being established around the commonwealth.

Alizé Rubiera is the first ADVANCE Â鶹ÊÓƵ Virginia Promise student to enroll at the university. She comes to George Â鶹ÊÓƵ from Germanna Community College.

The Virginia Board of Education has approved funding for George Â鶹ÊÓƵ to launch the Accelerated College and Employability Skills (ACCESS) Academy, a collaborative partnership with Northern Virginia Community College and Loudoun County Public Schools.
