Catherine Winkert has been a valued member of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community since 1984, bringing over four decades of experience in finance, administration, and human resources to the College of Visual and Performing Arts. In her current role as Director of Human Resources for the College of Visual and Performing Arts, Catherine is focusing on enhancing staff engagement and employee well-being, recognizing the importance of a supportive and inclusive workplace. She is committed to identifying and implementing resources that promote professional development, wellness, and a positive organizational culture. She has a long history of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s financial operations dating back to the 1980’s, providing support with budget development, human resource management, ensuring compliance with university policies and alignment with institutional goals. Throughout her career, Catherine has held a series of progressively responsible positions, demonstrating a deep understanding of university financial systems, personnel operations, and administrative processes. Her leadership has supported the growth and success of the college’s academic and performance programs, as well as its major venues, including the Center for the Arts and the Hylton Performing Arts Center. Catherine’s long-standing dedication to Â鶹ÊÓƵ reflects her commitment to excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement in higher education administration.
