Â鶹ÊÓƵ will consolidate programs and activities currently offered at the Loudoun instructional site, colocated with Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), to Fairfax and Â鶹ÊÓƵ Square.
The courses offered from the , , , and in Loudoun will continue to also be available in-person at the Fairfax Campus and online. Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s resources will be relocated to Â鶹ÊÓƵ Square, and programs will be offered at alternative locations in Loudoun and Fairfax. Faculty currently teaching graduate-level courses in Loudoun will move their classes to Fairfax or , which starts a phased opening later this year. The Loudoun instructional site at Signal Hill will be closed as of June 1, 2024.
Since 2006, Â鶹ÊÓƵ has offered limited in-person educational opportunities to Loudoun-area residents. Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s site became a co-location with NOVA in 2014, supporting student transfer pathways between NOVA and Â鶹ÊÓƵ through the ADVANCE Program. Â鶹ÊÓƵ subleases the current space from the community college, which is consolidating their programs on to the NOVA Loudoun Campus.
Loudoun area residents have access to robust course offerings, which is ranked 3rd among all public universities for online master’s programs.
There are no current plans for the Â鶹ÊÓƵ-owned Loudoun property near the Silver Line in Ashburn.
