What is TiE DC? The mission of TiE is to foster entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking, education, funding and incubation. With a focus of giving back to the community, TiE’s focus is on generating and nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs.
TiE DC is looking to create a team of 3 students to work on a long term project:
- Student 1 with Business Analyst skillsetÌý
- Student 2 strong in process design/development
- Student 3 strong in writing operations/procedure manuals.
The scope of the project would be to develop a first draft of TiE-DC’s process/procedures handbook for their back office functions consisting of:
- financial management (budget, accounting, finance)
- membership management
- sponsorships/partnerships
- events management (Annual Gala, GovCon Conference and StartUp Conference,Ìýbusiness plan/pitch competitions, networking events)
- marketing and communications
- angel investing
- administration Ìý Ìý Ìý ÌýÌý
Estimated to be a 200 hour project for each student over a 3-4 month period.ÌýThis is aÌýpaidÌýopportunity (hourly salary based on skills and experience).ÌýThe student team will work directly with the TiE DC President Elect.Ìý
